Club Projects

The SSF Women's Club focuses on community service programs to positively impact people around us locally and internationally.  We support the GFWC and CFWC projects such as Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Program, Civic Engagement and Outreach, and Education and Library Service programs to name a few.  Below are examples of recent projects of the SSF Women's Club.

Purse Project

30 purses & cosmetic bags were made and given to CORA our local Domestic Violence Shelter.  Members donated items for the purses and cosmetic bags. Items included pen, paper, hygiene products and make-up items for the cosmetic bags.


Ear Savers 

Over 200 Ear Savers made by our members were donated to area hospitals including
Laguna Honda & S.F. General 




Police Department Masks 

250 Masks made by our members for the South San Francisco Police Department 


                    Knit your Bit

This is the second time our members are doing Knit your Bit. This project is underway currently and members are knitting or crocheting scarves for veterans.


Heifer International

10 Bee Hives were purchased by the SSFWC and given to families
to provide an income source that helps them
become self reliant.




Operation Smile 

The SSFWC continually supports Operation Smile which provides free surgery
to children with a
cleft lip or cleft palate.
Our members make
arm splints and blankets
which are shipped quarterly.
